A strong second half performance from the Ospreys helped them to a 26-16 victory away to Glasgow Warriors in the Magners League.

The Warriors led 16-6 at the break thanks to a Dave McCall try and eleven points from the boot of Dan Parks.

But 20 unanswered points in the second period helped the Osprey's to their second Magners League win of the season as the Warriors faded away.

The hosts were quick out of the blocks and were 6-0 ahead inside six minutes. Magners League top points scorer Parks slotting two simple penalties.

The Osprey's responded well and were back level after 15 minutes. Fly-half Dan Biggar halved the deficit with a 25-metre drop-goal before making it 6-6 with a penalty from just inside the Warrior's half.

The Warriors brought a dull first half to life in the 35th minute when Kelly Brown collected Parks' cross-field kick and fed centre McCall who touched down for the first try of the match. Parks added the extras to make it 13-6.

Parks opened up a ten point lead for his side going into half-time by slotting a drop-goal to bring his evening's tally up to 11 points.

Biggar's second penalty of the night three minutes into the second period brought his side to within seven points before the Osprey's were reduced to 14 men when Sonny Parker was sin-binned for illegally clearing out a ruck.

Despite their disadvantage the Osprey's edged ahead on the hour mark. Tommy Bowe waltzing through a static Warriors defence to touch down before Biggar added the extras closely followed by a penalty to make it 19-16.

With a full complement of players the Ospreys took complete control as substitute Nicky Walker stretched over from close range with Biggar adding the extras.

The Warriors huffed and puffed but rarely looked like threatening the Osprey's try line and the visitors walked away with a comfortable 26-16 victory.
