Bottom of the table Wigan Warriors got their second win of the season in David Noble's first game at the club.
Pat Richards, Danny Orr, Chris Ashton and Brett Dallas were on the score sheet before the interval as Noble's team got a 46-14 win over Huddersfield.
Noble joined the club this week from Wigan's arch-rivals Bradford Bulls after the Warriors worst ever start to the season.
Wigan are still rock bottom of the Super League after the win. Iafeta Paleaaesina, Bryan Fletcher and Sean O'Loughlin were superb as Noble's team made a joke of their start to the campaign.
The score was 26-10 by the interval and it was hard to imagine how the team had been so poor in the earlier part of the season.
Huddersfield scored first through James Evans but they were unable to keep pace with the Warriors. The home side scored another when Martin Aspinwall touched down and then got the best try of the game through Chris Thorman who ran the length of the field to grab a consolation.
Wigan are now just two points behind the threesome of Wakefield, Catalans Dragons and Castleford all locked on six points.
