Nicole Kidman is being careful not to pass judgement on ex-husband Tom Cruise and his relationship with Katie Holmes.
The Aussie actress has seen the man she was married to for over ten years date a series of women since their divorce in 2001, but Tom's latest liaison with 26-year-old Katie has attracted enormous media attention.
In an interview with next month's Vanity Fair magazine, Nicole didn't speak about her ex's new relationship directly when asked.
But she warned of the dangers of parading romance in front of the cameras.
"In terms of your life, if you start to exploit it, then what's not? What's yours and what isn't?" she told the magazine.
Earlier this week, former Dawson's Creek star Katie hinted that wedding bells could be in the air.
Speaking at the premiere of her new film Batman Begins she said: "When Tom calls for me, I'm coming. I'm more and more in love every day."
And last month, 42-year-old Cruise behaved like a love-struck teenager when speaking about his feelings for his new girlfriend during an appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show.
The pair are fast becoming the hottest couple in Hollywood since first being spotted together in Rome at the end of April.
