England international Luke Narraway has signed a two-year extension to his current contract at Gloucester.
The 26-year-old will remain a Gloucester player until June 2012 and admitted that the decision to stay Kingsholm was an easy one.
He said: "The spirit in the squad is probably the best I've known since I've been at Gloucester, and the results over the last few weeks show that we're moving in the right direction.
"Gloucester is a special place to play rugby - the stadium, the supporters, training facilities and off-field set-up; it's the whole package."
Narraway has won seven caps for his country and made more than 100 appearances in the Guinness Premiership for ninth-placed Gloucester and head coach Bryan Redpath is delighted that Narraway has extended his current deal.
He said: "We're very pleased that Luke has committed to Gloucester as, on his day, he is one of the best number eights in the game.
"Luke's played all his rugby here and understands what it takes to be a Gloucester player. His challenge now is to continue to develop his game and deliver consistency so he can achieve his club and international ambitions, and we'll work hard to help him achieve this."
Gloucester have also confirmed the signing of Fijian Semi Tadulala until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old winger has successfully obtained his rugby union work permit and is set for his debut against Worcester in the LV Cup this weekend.
Tadulala has already been training with Gloucester but his appearances have been restricted to a couple of 'A' league outings while awaiting the issues surrounding his work permit to be resolved.
Coach Redpath added: "We're really pleased that Semi is eligible for selection. He had an impressive try-scoring record in rugby league, and it's now up to us and Semi to see if we can transfer some of those skills to the 15-a-side game.
"He's been training really hard with us and is a positive influence to have around the group, so we look forward to getting him involved."
