Andy Murray's fight-back against Janko Tipsarevic is delayed by rain at the Stella Artois tournament at Queen's Club.
Murray lost the first set on a tie break and was broken again in the opening game in the second set before reacting strongly and racing to a 5-2 lead.
The Scot showed his bad temper once again and was given a warning over his conduct after unleashing a tirade of foul-mouthed abuse as he struggled for form.
The teenager started impressively and played some fantastic shots as he moved to a 3-1 lead in the first set but was hauled back by the Serbian Tipsarevic.
Tipsarevic was methodical and patient as his play contrasted sharply with the erratic shot-making of the talented Scot.
Murray will now have to play a potential second round tie on the same day as the rest of this match as the fixtures pile up after the rain delay.
If he does finish off his opponent when the match resumes in the morning Murray will join Tim Henman in round two, who beat Andre Agassi.
The rest of the British challenge faded today as Jamie Baker was beaten easily by Mardy Fish and Alex Bogdanovic went down to Dmitry Tursunov.
Greg Rusedski and Martin Lee had already tumbled out of the annual curtain raiser for the All England Championship at Wimbledon.
