Magners League leaders Munster beat Llanelli 29-10 at Thomond Park.
The Irish side, who led 17-3 at the break, scored tries through Ian Dowling, David Wallace, Keith Earls, and Denis Leamy.
Ronan O'Gara slotted over a penalty and three conversions to move Munster 14 points clear at the top of the table, while the Scarlets remain in seventh spot.
Elsewhere, Cardiff defeated Ulster 11-9 at Ravenhill.
The Blues, who led 11-6 at the break, scored all their points in the first-half through a try from James Loxton and two penalties from Ceri Sweeney.
Ulster scored penalties through Clinton Schifcofske and Niall O'Connor, who also booted over a drop goal.
But it was not enough to prevent Cardiff winning which sees them cement their position in eighth while Ulster remain in fifth position.
