Jose Mourinho is already targeting success in next season's Champions League and feels Chelsea will improve on their recent efforts in the competition.
The Blues were knocked out on penalties by Liverpool at the semi-final stage this year and Mourinho wants to go one step further next season.
However, the Portuguese manager does not believe he needs to do anything drastic to enhance his team's chances, he thinks all they need is a bit more luck.
Mourinho said: "Winning is a habit, winning is culture, winning has a lot of mental preparation and I am very happy with it here.
"I just feel the last step is to take this feeling, or this little bit of luck to European competition. Chelsea played three Champions League semi-finals in the last four years, which is fantastic, but couldn't play one single final."
Despite having lost their Premiership crown to Manchester United Mourinho is concentrating on bringing the Champions League trophy to Stamford Bridge.
It is the only piece of silverware that has eluded him during his time in English football having added the FA Cup to his medal haul earlier this month.
But, with reference to the club's mush publicised injury crisis, he warned: "We cannot be obsessed. We must just keep doing our work and trying to improve and for sure next season we will improve because I don't believe in the same kind of season in medical terms."
Mourinho won the Champions League with Porto the season before he became Chelsea manager, his success in the competition being one of the factors that landed him his position at the west London club.
