Middlesex will kick-off the inaugural Twenty20 Champions League tournament with a match against Australia's Victoria Bushrangers in Mumbai.
English Twenty20 champions Middlesex have also been drawn in the same group as South African side Pretoria Titans and home favourites Chennai Super Kings. The top two teams in the group will go into the semi-finals, where they will face the top two teams from the other group.
The competition features eight teams, two from Australia, South Africa, and hosts India. Pakistan have one representative and Middlesex are the only English county competing. Twenty20 finalists Kent also had the chance to take part, but were unable to as they had two players who competed in the rebel Indian Cricket League (ICL).
Middlesex have been drawn in Group A, while Group B consists of Indian Premier League champions Rajasthan Royals, Sialkot, South Africa's Natal Dolphins and Australia's Western Warriors.
