Mercedes-Benz is expected to announce plans for its future in formula one at a press conference in Germany today, with the car manufacturer increasing its involvement with newly-crowned constructors' champions Brawn GP.
The press conference will be held with Doctor Dieter Zetsche, head of Mercedes-Benz Cars and motorsport director Norbert Haug and it is believed that the manufacturer will announce that it is buying a 75 per cent stake in the Brawn GP team.
The company, who supplied engines to Brawn, McLaren and Force India this season, is also expected to reveal its plans for its partnership with the McLaren team, which it currently owns 40 per cent of.
