An Essex man is due to appear in court tomorrow charged with the murder of a four-week-old baby boy in Harold Hill, Essex.
John Jeacock, 22, was arrested yesterday after an investigation by child cruelty officers.
A postmortem at the Great Ormond Street hospital in London on March 31st revealed that the baby died of head injuries.
The boy was admitted to Oldchurch hospital in Romford suffering from breathing difficulties on March 26th and was transferred to Addenbrooks hospital, Cambridge, and then back to Oldchurch.
But the baby died on March 30th, four days later.
