Liverpool fans to miss final

The 1,600 Liverpool fans whose FA Cup final tickets have been stolen from the Royal Mail will not be given duplicates and will miss the match.
Millennium Stadium officials have confirmed that the 'no copies' rule will be up-held despite the fans missing out through no fault of their own.
The organisers admitted that they have had no luck in tracking down which tickets have been stolen and are therefore unable to issue new tickets.
They had previously promised that all the tickets would be traced and that anyone buying them on the black market would not be able to gain entry to the ground, but it looks as though they have been forced to give up on that and allow dodgy ticket holders into the ground.
Millennium Stadium chief executive Paul Sergeant said: "We have every sympathy for those football fans who have had their tickets stolen and have looked at all possibilities of re-seating these people, but after a meeting with our safety advisory group we are standing by our no duplicates policy.
"I'm sure all football fans will understand that we simply don't have spare seats for an FA Cup final and we cannot compromise on segregation or the safety of our employees - we're full!"
Staff will attempt to eject people sitting in those empty seats but it may be difficult to isolate them amongst the 24,436 Liverpool ticket holders.
