Newcastle manager Joe Kinnear has been charged by the Football Association after being sent to the stands during Saturday's 2-2 draw with Stoke City at St James' Park.
The 61-year-old has been charged with using abusive and insulting words towards a match official, after comments made to referee Mike Riley after he awarded a free-kick to Stoke which led to their injury-time equaliser.
It the second FA charge currently leveled at Kinnear, who was also charged with improper conduct after branding Martin Atkinson a "Mickey Mouse referee" following his side's 2-1 defeat at Fulham last month.
The former Wimbledon and Nottingham Forest manager was also was warned as to his future conduct after swearing 52 times at journalists during a press conference shortly after taking over from Kevin Keegan.
Kinnear has until Friday to respond to the first charge and December 23 to respond to the latest.
