Katie Price has apologised for her behaviour over the last year and announced her split from Alex Reid, on ITV's I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!

The former glamour model, previously known as Jordan, told the show's presenters Ant and Dec she was no longer with cage-fighter Reid during an interview following her unexpected exit from the jungle.

The 31-year-old also apologised for her behaviour since splitting from husband Peter Andre, who she met the first time she was on the reality TV show.

Writing on the micro-blogging site Twitter yesterday after she left the jungle, Price said: "Hey thankyou for all your support !! I tried my best xxxxxxxxxxxxx

"I feeeel sooo goood today."

Ex-EastEnders star Lucy Benjamin was the first celebrity to be voted out of I'm a Celebrity yesterday.

Speaking about how it was going back to the jungle without Andre, Price said: "It was so, so tough... I wanted closure. All these good memories - but all those memories have now gone.

"I found it emotionally very hard.

"The whole place reminded me of Pete from the moment I woke up."

Speaking about her relationship with Reid, who had reportedly flown to Australia to propose to her, she said: "It's best that I'm on my own. I don't want a relationship... I'm not with him [Reid], no."

Since last night's show Sky Bet are offering odds at just 3/1 that Katie Price remarries Peter Andre before next year is out.

Sky Bet's entertainment betting expert Helen Jacob said: "People love to bet on what Katie Price will do next. We had offered 16/1 for her to dump Alex while in the jungle but only a dozen or so canny punters landed the gamble.

"However, we expect to take a lot more bets on Katie and Peter getting back together, with money already coming in for them to remarry next year."
