Jackie Stallone's brief stay in the Big Brother house came to an abrupt end last night as she became the first celebrity to be axed from the reality TV show.
The Hollywood astrologer and mother of movie star Sylvester Stallone made a dignified exit after the vote was announced.
But racing pundit John McCririck was clearly miffed to find his stay was to be extended, holding his heads in his hands and wishing he was on his way.
Jackie told John it served him right. "You should stay," she said.
But her eviction had a sweet scent of irony as she was nominated by all six housemates except McCririck.
At 22:00 GMT last night, Davina announced that after five days in the house Jackie had garnered just 33 per cent of the public vote.
To the chagrin of McCririck, 67 per cent of viewers voted to keep him in.
Jackie became the ninth housemate in Celebrity Big Brother 3 when she made a surprise entrance on the set on Monday night.
The self-confessed septuagenarian said she was so happy to get out, as the house was "full of morons".
"I'm a total wreck, I need a vacation, this was a nightmare," she told Big Brother host Davina McCall.
Despite complaining that the show's producers had made contestants "live like pigs", the flamboyant celebrity said she was pleased to have patched things up with fellow contestant and former daughter-in-law, actress Brigitte Nielsen.
"That alone was worth $1m," she said.
Happy Mondays star Bez is now favourite to win this year's Celebrity Big Brother at 7-4, with Kenzie second at 2-1 and former favourite Jeremy third at 4-1.
