Zimbabwean rivals Robert Mugabe and Morgan Tsvangirai have arrived in south Africa for a summit of regional heads of state.
Regional leaders have gathered for the meeting of regional cooperation body, the Southern African Development Community (SADC) with the formation of a government in Zimbabwe after June's controversial elections high on the agenda.
South African president Thabo Mbeki has been brokering talks between the country's rival parties since the contentious polls which were condemned by the US and UK and have resulted in Botswana's president Seretse Khama boycotting the ongoing SADC meeting.
Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) leader Morgan Tsvangirai, Zanu-PF head and incumbent president Robert Mugabe and MDC faction leader Arthur Mutambara have been holding complex power-sharing talks after the country's controversial elections.
Mr Tsvangirai's party won a majority of seats in the country's parliament but boycotted the presidential election resulting in Mr Mugabe winning a one-candidate election.
