Two men have been charged with the kidnapping, rape and murder of 15 children and women in India.
Earlier today police said they had found 15 skulls in the garden of a businessman's house in suburban Noida, east of the capital New Delhi.
Local reports say Mohinder Singh Pandher and his servant, only known as Satish, have confessed to the murders in police custody. They have both been remanded in custody for two days after appearing at a local court.
All of the victims are thought to have been from impoverished backgrounds and the macabre discovery has sparked outrage among families from nearby slums, who claim they have complained to police for more than two months over their missing children.
Residents told journalists that up to 40 children and young women had gone missing in the last few years.
Police began the excavations at Mr Pandher's house after large plastic bags filled with children's clothes and human remains were found in drainage systems.
According to other reports, the children and women were lured to the house with chocolates, toys and the promise of employment.
