Police have launched a murder investigation after a man was shot dead outside a school in north-west London.
Officers were called to reports of a shooting near Stonebridge School in Shakespeare Avenue, Harlesden, at around 02:30 GMT on Sunday.
On arrival, they discovered an injured man in his 20s. He was taken to hospital but later died.
On Monday evening he was identified as Shawn Callum, 26.
A post-mortem examination gave his cause of death as a gunshot wound.
A statement from Metropolitan police confirmed the victim's next of kin have been informed but formal identification is yet to be confirmed.
It is thought Mr Callum was attending a private party held on the school grounds when he was killed.
Police this afternoon released a copy of a ticket to the party in a bid to publicise their appeal for information relating to the shooting.
There were around 150 to 200 people apparently at the event.
Officers from Operation Trident - which deals with gun crime among the capital's black community - are investigating the murder.
Brent council released a statement on its website announcing the school would be closed today as the police investigations continue.
Anyone with any information relating to the incident are asked to contact police on 020 8733 4704 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
