The ragtag selection of singers, actors and washed-up TV personalities featuring on this year's version of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! has been revealed.

EastEnders actress Lucy Benjamin, TV chef Gino D'Acampo and six-time world championship snooker finalist Jimmy White head the list of 11 venturing into the Australian jungle.

But there is no place on the ITV1 show, now in its ninth series, for ex-contestants Katie Price and Peter Andre, although rumours persist the former couple will make an appearance sometime during the show.

Also competing to be named king or queen of the jungle are dander Camilla Dallerup, actress Sam Fox, American actor George Hamilton, Hollyoaks star Stuart Manning, interior designers Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan, former Mis-Teeq singer Sabrina Washington and Kim Woodburn, one half of How Clean is Your House.

The controller of factual entertainment at ITV Natalka Znak said it was a "fascinating and fun group".

An I'm a Celebrity spokesperson promised viewers some of the "most terrifying [Bushtucker Trials] yet".

"Cut off from the outside world in one of the most hostile environments on earth, the personalities have just basic food rations to survive on and will have to undergo petrifying and stomach-churning challenges to win supplies," a press release added.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!, hosted by Ant and Dec, starts on Sunday November 15th on ITV1 and ITV2.

Previous winners of the show include Phil Tufnell, Kerry Katona, Tony Blackburn, Joe Pasquale, Carole Thatcher, Matt Willis, Christopher Biggins and Joe Swash.
