Manchester City manager Mark Hughes was happy to secure a point after coming from behind to draw with Aston Villa.
Former City defender Richard Dunne put Villa ahead in the first half, however Craig Bellamy equalised for Hughes' team in the second half as they moved up to fourth in the Premier League.
Speaking after the match at Villa Park, Hughes said: "As the second half wore on I felt we looked more likely to get the points, but as the away team we were really positive and maybe further down the season we'll view this as a good point.
"We've played better, but the lads have shown great qualities again."
After opening the scoring against his former club, Dunne refused to celebrate, and described it as a surreal experience.
"It was quite surreal, scoring, it always seems to happen in football.
"Not celebrating felt like the right thing to do today. Man City are a very good side who will challenge the top four this season so we did well."
Meanwhile, Villa manager Martin O'Neill paid tribute to his side performance despite being disappointed at the final result.
"Over the course of the game I'm disappointed with the result, but not the performance because we were absolutely fantastic," he said.
"First half, we haven't played better. I thought it was a fantastic game and I'm pleased with everyone - the players, the crowd, everyone."
