A hotel fire in Iraq has taken the lives of at least 29 people, according to reports from the area, including women and children.
It is not thought that the fire was the result of a terrorist attack, with an electrical fault being given as the suspected initial cause of the deadly flames.
Some foreigners, including some Americans, are said to be among the dead at the hotel in Sulaimaniyah city, while at least 22 people are thought to have been injured.
AFP reporters were told that at least three of the dead were killed when they jumped from window's to escape the burning building.
The fire spread through the Soma Hotel, which broke late last night local time, in the north of Iraq.
