Fulham manager Roy Hodgson expressed his relief after his side ended their poor run of form with a 1-0 win over Portsmouth.
Jonathan Greening scored his first goal since arriving from West Bromich Albion to give Fulham the win, which sees them move up to tenth in league.
The victory also ended a run of seven games without a league win for the Cottagers and Hodgson admitted after the game that his side had ridden their luck against Portsmouth.
"I'm very relieved," he said.
"In the first half we couldn't get our game together and to come in 0-0 at half-time was fortunate.
"Luckily we did a bit better in the second half and it's a precious win for us."
Meanwhile, Hodgson's counterpart Avram Grant said he thought Fulham's goal was offside, but admitted his side had wasted good chances.
"We dominated the game and from one mistake we lost," said the Portsmouth manager.
"It is very frustrating. We are playing the type of football that deserves to take us much higher but we need to learn to take our chances."
