England international Charlie Hodgson guided champions Sale to a comfortable 25-13 win over Worcester in the Guinness Premiership.
The fly-half scored two penalties and two conversions as the Sharks put in a dominant first half display to lead 15-3.
Centre Chris Bell and lock Jason White scored first half tries for the visitors against the rock-bottom side.
Hodgson's England teammate Mark Cueto bagged a late try in the second half to clinch their second win of the season.
England under-21 international Ben Foden played at scrum half for the Sharks while Steve Hanley was a late withdrawal due to a groin injury.
Worcester made four changes from the side that lost to Newcastle last Friday with Tongan international Aisea Havili returning to action following a shoulder injury while Ryan Powell made his debut at scrum half.
Shane Drahm continued his impressive form for the Warriors with two penalties and a conversion while winger Havili crossed the line.
The result sees Sale move up to second and tied on eight points with Wasps and early pace setters Gloucester.
Worcester are one of three sides yet to win in the Premiership and are away at Bath next Saturday while Sale face Saracens at home next Friday.
