Fulham boss Roy Hodgson believes his side were dealt a major injustice in their defeat to Roma in the Europa League, as two of his team were sent off in the second-half.
Fulham led at half-time thanks to Diomansy Kamara's penalty and looked to be in control. However, Erik Nevland was sent off four minutes into the second-half having only come on at the break.
Former Liverpool full-back John Arne Riise then put Roma back on level terms before Stefano Okaka headed in the winner from Rodrigo Taddei's cross.
Fulham's night got worse when Paul Konchesky was sent off in the final minute, with Hodgson claiming his team were treated harshly.
"You cannot be happy in the face of injustice," he said after the game.
"I think the two red cards were very harsh. I didn't speak to the referee. I only spoke to the fourth official.
"I accept the situation because the referee makes the decision, but I'm not happy.
"But what can you do but accept the referee's decision because it doesn't change anything."
The defeat leaves Fulham third in their group, trailing Roma by two points, with Hodgson admitting his side now face an uphill battle to qualify for the last 32.
"Unfortunately, this defeat takes things out of our hands a little bit. We could win the last two games and still not qualify," he said.
