Lleyton Hewitt has suggested he is looking forward to playing Tim Henman tomorrow in the semi-final of the Stella Artois championship at the Queens club.
Speaking to the BBC following a fortuitous victory over the in-form teenage sensation Rafael Nadal, winner at the French Open tournament last weekend, the 25-year-old Australian said that it was always fun playing with Tim.
Hewitts statement was no great surprise as the grass court specialist has proved to be Henmans bete noire in recent years.
The Englishman was crushed by Hewitt in his most recent Wimbledon semi-final in 2002 and only recently ended an eight-match losing streak against him at the Nasdaq-100 event in Miami in March.
Following his straight sets victory over another nemesis of recent times, Dmitry Tursunov, in the quarter-final earlier today, Henman seemed confident of reaching his fourth final at the Queens club.
He revealed that the back problems he has suffered of late which had caused his ranking to drop were hopefully behind him.
With expectations of his forthcoming appearance at Wimbledon far lower than in previous years, he also hoped that he could sneak under the radar and win his first Grand Slam tournament.
