Aston Villa target man Emile Heskey has admitted he is considering his future at the club, in a bid to secure his place in England's World Cup squad.
The 31-year-old joined Villa ten months ago after a resurgence in recent years, recapturing his form at Wigan Athletic and then being recalled to the England squad after a six-year absence earlier in 2009.
However, this season Heskey has only started one game for Martin O'Neill's team and the Leicester-born striker has admitted he will sit down with O'Neill when returns to the club's Bodymoor Heath training ground.
"I will have to sit down and think about my next move," he said.
"I don't know whether I can get a World Cup place if I'm not playing for Villa. [England boss Fabio Capello] hasn't really spoken to me about it.
"I'm happy to be playing for England and, obviously, not playing at club level is difficult.
"But it's something I will have to look at when I get back and try to address it."
Heskey has won 57 England caps since making his debut against Hungary in 1999 and will hope to start Wednesday's World Cup qualifier against Belarus.
