World number one Justine Henin is through to the fourth round of the Sony Ericsson Open in Miami after beating Sara Errani 6-2, 6-1.
In 85-degree heat, the Belgian wrapped up victory after just over an hour on court.
Henin won the opening set after winning the final three games, and clinched victory by winning four games on the trot in the second set.
The seven-time grand slam champion, who won 19 of 20 points on her first serve, said she pleased with getting off the court quickly at Key Biscayne.
"It's very hot out there," Henin said.
"It was quite difficult to breathe. I usually like when it's hot, but I haven't been in this heat for a long time.
"Even in Australia it wasn't that hot this year, so it's quite difficult."
Sixth seed Venus Williams joined Henin in the fourth round after seeing off wild-card Marina Erakovic 6-2, 6-1.
The six-time grand slam champion broke the New Zealander three times in the opening set.
Williams won the second set in just 23 minutes after racing into a 5-0 lead before wrapping up victory.
Third seed Svetlana Kuznetsova is through after a hard-fought 1-6, 7-5 6-0 win against Victoria Azarenka.
In the second set the Russian had to overcome a 5-2 deficit and a match point, before winning the final 11 games to beat the world number 25.
