British singer Seal and supermodel Heidi Klum have announced the arrival of their fourth child, a girl named Lou Sulola Samuel.
The baby girl was born on October 9th in Los Angeles, a statement from the couple confirmed. Lou Sulola joins siblings Johan, two-and-a-half, four-year-old Henry and Leni, five.
Leni's biological father is disgraced formula one impressario Flavio Briatore, though the Italian is not believed to be involved in his daughter's life, with Klum telling USA Today in 2007: "Seal is Leni's father."
Seal, 46, released a statement on Monday evening confirming the birth of Lou, the couple's fourth child.
"It's difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children," the Kiss From A Rose star wrote.
"Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another?"
He went on: "On Friday, October 9th, 2009, at 7:46 pm, the answer to this question came in the form of our fourth child and second daughter.
"Lou Sulola Samuel was born, and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes, it was endless love at first sight. She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years."
Klum, 36, and Seal were married on May 10th 2005 on a Mexican beach and earlier this month, the German model filed a petition to have her surname changed to Samuel, her husband's last name.
