The total number of people diagnosed with swine flu in the UK has now reached 101, the Health Protection Agency has confirmed.
A statement on the agency's website today announced 14 patients under investigation in England have now been confirmed as having the H1N1 virus.
Of the 14, six are adults and eight are children. The new cases are based in the east of England, London and the south-east.
Eleven of the new cases are thought to have had contact with previously confirmed cases, two are returning travellers and one who source of infection remains under investigation.
The HPA has said there are currently a further 155 cases under laboratory investigation.
