Manchester United owner Malcolm Glazer has been readmitted to hospital after he suffered his second stroke in a month.
The 77-year-old, who brought the Old Trafford club last year, is said to be in a non-life threatening condition in a hospital in Florida.
Glazer had his first stroke on April 16th and had spent most of his time in Florida's Cleveland Clinic but he is now expected to remaining at the hospital until at least the end of the month for observation.
"Doctors expect my father to return home in the next few weeks," his son Joel Glazer told the BBC.
"As a result of this stroke his rehabilitation period will be longer and more challenging but our family appreciates all the support and warm wishes that we have received."
Since the first stroke, Glazer has had trouble speaking and his movement on his right side has been affected.
Despite the owner's condition, his three sons do most of the running of the club and a statement from the family said that United would be unaffected by Glazer's health.
Glazer also owns the NFL team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as well as his 98 per cent stake in the Premiership club.
