A man has been charged with possessing a fireman on the street where former prime minister Tony Blair now lives.
Police have confirmed Kutjim Nurka, 56, from Wembley, north-west London, was arrested on Connaught Street in Westminster on Monday evening.
He later appeared at Westminster magistrates and was remanded in custody to appear at Southwark crown court in February.
Mr Blair bought his Grade II listed property on Connaught Street in 2004 while he was residing in Downing Street.
The former PM, however, was in Washington DC at the time of the arrest earlier this week.
