Portsmouth's Avram Grant has been revealed as the Premier League manager who was caught visiting an alleged brothel in Southampton last year.
The former Chelsea boss is believed to be the subject of an investigation into the premises and was confronted by a reporter as he left on December 18th 2009.
Asked if he knew it was a brothel, Grant allegedly replied "yes" and smiled.
It was reported by a tabloid newspaper last year that an unnamed manager had been spotted emerging from the Thai 'massage parlour' but because of privacy laws the paper refused to name him.
However, last week's landmark ruling against England captain John Terry, who tried to get a 'super injunction' to prevent the publication of an alleged extra-marital affair with a former team-mate's ex-girlfriend, means the press are more inclined to publish such information.
Local police are currently involved in an investigation into the 'brothel' visited by Grant, who is married with two children.
It is not known if the 54-year-old's wife Tzofit is aware of the incident.
