Liverpool's Champions League goal hero Dirk Kuyt has revealed that he doesn't mind what position manager Rafael Benitez deploys him in.
The Dutch international, speaking after his goal helped Liverpool to a 1-0 win over Hungarian champions Debrecen in their opening Group E clash, seemed to be playing just behind Fernando Torres in a role normally occupied by club captain Stephen Gerrard.
Kuyt said: "Maybe Saturday it will be another position."
Benitez, talking after his 300th game in charge of Liverpool, explained that Kuyt gives his team "mobility", adding that "he's always in good positions".
It was right-back Glen Johnson who the Reds' centre back Jamie Carragher singled out for praise.
Carragher, who retired from international football some years ago, thinks Johnson deserves the recognition he has received this season.
He said: "Fabio Capello is a good judge of players. He [Johnson] has definitely been our best player this season."
