American golfer Lucas Glover shot a six-under par 66 giving him a one shot lead during the first round of the USPGA Championship.

Behind him was fellow countryman Billy Andrade, who did not drop a single shot,in second place on five under.
A group of four players in the clubhouse made up the chasing pack on four under. Stewart Cink and Robert Allenby were joined by Luke Donald when the Englishman dropped a shot at the last hole.

Both players chose to concentrate on consistency on the opening day, scoring four birdies and one bogey each.
