Gloucestershire took advantage of a rain-affected day and revised total to beat Worcestershire by seven wickets in the Twenty20 Cup quarter-final in Bristol.
Worcestershire, whose home ground of New Road was recently flooded, suffered at the hands of the weather again as a series of delays broke their openers' concentration.
Graeme Hick and Phil Jacques both departed inside the first two interrupted overs, but Vikram Solanki (47) and Ben Smith (37) accelerated well after a slow start to their innings.
Another rain break was again followed with a spate of wickets however, as Ian Fisher tempted Solanki into a misjudged charge before Smith could only fend a Ben Edmondson delivery to short fine-leg eight balls later.
The Royals finished on 123 for six off 17 overs from which the Duckworth Lewis method produced a total of 129 off 17 overs for the home side to obtain for victory.
The reply got off to a rapid start with Hamish Marshall smiting six fours off 20 deliveries before his ambition got the better of him and he holed out to Daryl Mitchell for 36.
The momentum continued despite his departure with Kadeer Ali's 39 coinciding with an assured 31 not out from Chris Taylor as the pair put on 53 runs for the second wicket.
The 17 runs required when Ali headed back to the pavilion were duly rattled off by Taylor and Alex Gidman with another 17 balls to spare.
