Glasgow have catapulted themselves into fourth place in the Magners League after a 25-20 over rivals Edinburgh at Firhill.
But Edinburgh win the annual 1872 Cup thanks to the aggregate score following their 39-6 victory on Boxing Day.
The Warriors were led to victory by Graeme Morton's first-half try and three penalties and two drop goals from Dan Parks.
Geoff Cross and Ben Cairns crashed over for Edinburgh while Phil Godman slotted over two penalties.
The win for Glasgow puts them four points behind leaders Ospreys while Edinburgh remain in sixth position.
Glasgow coach Sean Lineen praised his side for bouncing back from their drubbing on Boxing Day.
"It was a hard, hard week for everyone connected with the squad in the wake of their heavy defeat at Murrayfield," he said.
"But I was really proud of the way they acquitted themselves in such difficult circumstances.
"They guys dug deep both physically and mentally and we can now look forward to the rest of the Magners League campaign with some new optimism.
"The players took a long, hard look at themselves after Murrayfield and captain Ally Kellock has done a fantastic job in terms of motivation."
Meanwhile, Edinburgh coach Andy Robinson said he was disappointed with how his side finished the game.
"The fact the defeat was to our nearest rivals made it harder to take," the ex-England coach said.
"We were back in the match when we scored two penalties in the second half but then lost momentum."
Elsewhere, Leinster defeated Connacht 26-18 at Donnybrook after tries from Trevor Hogan, Robert Kearney, and Luke Fitzgerald.
