Glasgow ran in six tries to claim an impressive 38-21 win over the Scarlets at the Parc Y Scarlets in the Magners League.
Brothers Thom Evans (2) and Max Evans grabbed three of the six tries Glasgow scored, with John Barclay also getting two tries and Moray Low also touching down for the Scottish side.
The Scarlets struggled to match the creativity shown by Glasgow but managed to save some pride with two tries from Dafydd Jones and Gavin Evans.
A scintillating break from Lome Fa'atau led to his fellow winger Thom Evans finishing off for the opening try of the match after he did well to stay in touch as Mark Jones tried desperately to take him down.
Barclay then came to the fore as he was on hand to grab two tries from close range and Colin Gregor added two conversions to give Glasgow a 19-0 lead.
The Scarlets were in danger of getting humiliated as Glasgow looked like they could score a try with every move. Stephen Jones managed to get the Scarlets on the scoreboard with two penalties, but they conceded a fourth try before the half hour mark.
Barclay took a lineout ball and thundered his way towards the try-line before passing the ball on to Low to get the try.
A try from Gavin Evans and another penalty from Jones saw the Scarlets go in 12 points behind at 26-14. But any hopes of a Scarlets comeback were thwarted early in the second-half.
Fa'atau spotted there was space behind the Scarlets defence and chipped the ball through and Max Evans used to his pace to get the ball and score a simple try.
Dafydd Jones grabbed a brilliant individual try, but once again Glasgow hit back almost immediately as Thom Evans raced clear for his second try and made sure Glasgow won by a huge 17 points.
Elsewhere, Munster extended their lead at the top with a 22-5 win over big rivals Leinster at Thomond Park.
Munster led 6-0 at half-time as Ronan O'Gara kicked two penalties. Leinster could have gone in on level terms, but Felipe Contepomi and Rob Kearney missed kicks at goal.
It was a similar story in the second-half as O'Gara kicked a penalty and a drop-goal to give his side a 12-0 lead, while Contepomi missed another penalty.
Munster's lead became 17-0 on the hour mark when Keith Earls took a pass from Niall Ronan to score the first try of the match.
Gordon D'Arcy grabbed a late consolation try for Leinster, but O'Gara had the last word as he kicked another penalty.
