Gloucestershire boosted their hopes of reaching the quarter-finals of the Twenty20 Cup after beating Worcestershire by 61 runs at Kidderminster.
New Zealander Hamish Marshall struck a century off 55 balls with ten fours and six sixes to guide the Gladiators to 198-7.
But Marshall was not supported by his team-mates with only Stephen Adshead going past 20. Kabir Ali took three wickets for the Royals.
Worcestershire were skittled out for 137 in reply with veteran Graeme Hick top-scoring with 31. Ian Fisher was the pick of the bowlers with 3-12 for the Gladiators.
The win sees the Gladiators move into second spot behind Warwickshire in the Mid/West/Wales Division while the Royals lie in fourth place.
Elsewhere, Hampshire sealed their first Twenty20 win this season after defeating Essex by seven wickets at the Rose Bowl.
With the match reduced to 15 overs per side because of the rain, Essex were dismissed for just 99.
Dutchman Ryan ten Doeschate top-scored with 22 while former Zimbabwe star Grant Flower made 21.
Seamer David Griffiths did the most damage taking 3-13 while Greg Lamb and James Bruce took two wickets apiece.
The Hawks passed their target with 16 balls to spare thanks to an unbeaten 50 from Zimbabwean Sean Ervine.
Despite the win, Hampshire remain bottom of the South Division but on the same number of points as Essex.
Lancashire's game with Derbyshire at Old Trafford was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to the rain.
