A teenage girl has been found dead in a car stopped by police officers in west Wales.
The body of Chanelle Jones, 17, was discovered in a Ford Fiesta brought to a halt when police deployed a "stinger" to blow out the vehicle's tyres.
The car crashed into a nearby camper van after the stinger was used, injuring two people in the van.
Dyfed-Powys police said the driver of the Fiesta was arrested at the scene on the A487 near Aberaeron, Ceredigion, and required medical treatment.
It is still unclear whether Chanelle, who had been reported missing hours before, was dead when the car crashed or whether she died as a result of the crash.
A murder investigation has been launched though and a post-mortem is due to be carried out in due course.
Police also referred the accident to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) due to the way the car had been brought to a stop.
