Steven Gerrard believes Liverpool are a force to be reckoned with and do not fear any opponent ahead of the draw for the quarter-finals in the Champions League.
The Reds destroyed Real Madrid 4-0 at Anfield last week to reach the last eight of the competition and Gerrard thinks his side are a match for anyone in Europe if they can repeat that form.
"We're not running scared of anyone," Gerrard told LFC Magazine. "We'll take who we get and believe that we're going to go through."
Liverpool could face Barcelona, Villarreal, Porto or Bayern Munich who won their last 16 tie 12-1 on aggregate as well as English trio Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea in the quarter-finals.
The Reds captain admits there are some teams who may pose less of a threat than others in the draw but knows they will face a tough task whoever they are paired with.
He added: "If we could hand-pick an opponent then maybe we'd want someone like Villarreal or Porto but at this stage of the competition there are no easy games. It might be a cliché, but it's true.
"Everyone who's got to this stage of the competition has done well. They'll all believe in themselves."
Having beaten Real 4-0 Liverpool went on to beat United 4-1 in the Premier League four days later and Gerrard insists the Reds are "a force to be reckoned with when we pull it all together".
The midfielder thinks that if they can continue the form they showed against Real then a sixth European title could be on the cards.
"Playing like that I don't think there's a team in Europe that could have lived with us," he concluded.
Liverpool will discover their quarter-final and possible semi-final opponents on Friday when the draw is made.
