Steven Gerrard is again unavailable for Liverpool for Saturday's clash with Hull City.
The England midfielder is still struggling with the groin injury which has kept him out of the Reds' last three games.
Gerrard missed his side's 4-4 draw with Chelsea which saw them dumped out of the Champions League, and the 4-0 win over Blackburn Rovers and 4-4 draw with Arsenal in the Premier League.
The skipper has been left out of the squad to face the Tigers at the KC Stadium. But boss Rafael Benitez is confident the 28-year-old will be fit for the home clash with Newcastle United on May 3rd.
"He is not fit and won't be available. I think he will be available next week because he's improving, but this game is too soon," Benitez told the club's official website.
"The rest of the team is available - we have a full squad."
Benitez said earlier this month the midfielder would have to be nursed through the rest of the season after suffering the abductor strain while on international duty.
Liverpool trail leaders Manchester United by three points in the Premier League, with Sir Alex Ferguson's side having a game-in-hand.
Benitez also dismissed speculation linking him with a move for United striker Carlos Tevez.
"We are working hard with the scouting department but we are not talking about the names of players. It is too early summer is still too far away," the Spaniard said.
