Mercury Prize nominees Friendly Fires have been announced as the Sunday night headliners for this year's Camp Bestival.
The St Albans trio will top the bill at the Dorset event on Sunday August 1st, Camp Bestival organiser Rob Da Bank announced on Thursday.
Nominated for two Brit awards this month - best British group and British breakthrough act - Friendly Fires join Madness, the Human League and funk legends George Clinton and Parliament on the Camp Bestival 2010 bill.
"Camp Bestival's third trip to the seaside is looking like a right old knees up," said Rob Da Bank of the new addition to the bill.
"Friendly Fires have played almost every Bestival going so I'm delighted to see them coming to Camp and we've done loads of work on our arts and literary side and to have interview sessions with Andrea Arnold, Nigel Godrich and DJ Derek is ace. Lots and lots more stuff coming next week. Hold tight!"
Also set for the Lulworth Castle on July 30th and 31st and August 1st are Marc Almond, Billy Bragg and hotly-tipped pop duo Hurts.
Weekend tickets are priced at £155 with student tickets available for £145 and 11- to 17-year-olds able to attend for £77.50.
