Manchester City target Yaya Toure has scuppered any chances of him moving to England after declaring himself happy in Spain and with his current club Barcelona.

It was thought that the midfielder would join his brother Kolo Toure at City in the near future but this has been dismissed by those concerned.

Toure said: "I have heard about interest from Manchester City and Arsenal but my future is at Barcelona. I have spoken to the directors at the club, I don't want to leave and my only mission and is to stay and be a success at the club."

Outspoken Liverpool winger Albert Riera will leave Anfield within weeks, possibly to a club in Russia after his attack on manager Rafa Benitez.

Meanwhile the Chelsea revolution will focus on recruiting high profile young players as Roman Abramovich will attempt to drive down the average age of an aging squad.

Possible names on the list include Sergio Aguero and Jack Rodwell.
