Four people have died after their car crashed into a tree in Cheshire in the early hours of this morning, police have said.
The collision took place at 02:10 BST this morning on the A540, Chester High Road, at Neston.
Two men and two women, all thought to be in their early 20s, died at the scene.
A spokesperson for Cheshire police said three of the victim's bodies had been extricated from the wreckage of the vehicle, while a fourth victim was thrown clear from the car upon impact.
Detectives have informally identified the two male victims and one female victim.
