Arsenal produced a stunning performance to beat Fenerbahce 5-2 in Istanbul.

Three first-half goals from Emmanuel Adebayor, Theo Walcott and Abou Diaby set Arsene Wenger's men on their way, before Alexandre Song and Aaron Ramsey added to their tally in the second-half.

Adebayor gave Arsenal the lead in just the 11th minute when he latched onto a Cesc Fabregas pass and smashed a brilliant finish past Volkan Demirel in the Turks' goal.

They doubled their lead just a minute later and once again the Fenerbahce defence was brutally exposed.

Fabregas again played the through ball and Walcott rounded Demirel before slotting into an empty net.

Neither defence were covering themselves in glory and the home side were back in the game when Mikael Silvestre put through his own net to make it 1-2 with the game just 19 minutes old.

The mayhem continued when Diaby made it three just two minutes later, brilliantly switching the ball from one foot to the other before producing a cool finish.

Arsenal made it four after 49 minutes when Fabregas' free-kick was swung into the box and when Fenerbahce failed to clear Alexandre Song hit a delightful right-footed volley into the corner.

Daniel Guiza pulled one back with 12 minutes remaining when he pounced on a mistake by Song to loop the ball over Manuel Almunia in the Arsenal goal.

Substitute Ramsey made it five in stoppage time with a brilliant finish to put the gloss on a thoroughly rewarding night for the London club, who now sit on top of Group G with seven points from their three games.
