Ferguson admits luck with striker rotation

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has admitted that he has been lucky with his policy of rotating strikers.
The United boss has interchanged Louis Saha and Ruud van Nistelrooy in his front line in recent weeks and his policy has led to rumours that the Dutchman may be unhappy at Old Trafford.
However, it has worked for Ferguson as his side have won their last nine games in the Premiership but he admits that he has been lucky.
"I got it right against Arsenal but I won't always get it right as you are talking about little details and it is very difficult," Ferguson said.
"On Sunday I felt Ruud van Nistelrooy always has a point to prove against Arsenal so that is why I felt I should play him."
Ferguson began his rotation policy when he surprisingly dropped van Nistelrooy for the Carling Cup final.
Despite the Dutchman's obvious displeasure, Saha scored as United beat Wigan 4-0 at the Millennium Stadium.
Since then, Ferguson has switched between the two, with Saha finding the net three times in seven games and van Nistelrooy twice in six matches.
Ferguson has admitted that he will continue his rotation policy and said that he may rest Wayne Rooney for Friday's game against Sunderland at Old Trafford.
