Sir Alex Ferguson admits he is gunning for revenge against Jose Mourinho when Manchester United clash with Inter Milan in the Champions League.
The reigning champions meet Inter at the San Siro on February 25th in the first leg of the last 16 tie.
Ferguson has tasted victory just once in 12 matches against the Portuguese coach. His United side were knocked out by Mourinho's FC Porto in the knockout stages in 2004.
Porto, who went on to lift the European Cup that year, were accused by Ferguson of diving and went through after a last-minute goal in the second leg at Old Trafford.
The Scot said he hopes his side can avenge that defeat by beating the Serie A champions.
"It will be interesting to come up against Jose again," Ferguson said.
"He is a character with a good personality and I have always got on well with him.
"He knocked us out of the competition when he was at Porto, so I hope we have the luck they had in that tie this time around.
"We'll be trying to put one over on Jose this time and get the result the fans want and the club wants."
Meanwhile, Mourinho insists he was keen to play United in the knockout stages.
"I am satisfied, I wanted the best and I have got the European champions who maybe in two days will be world champions," the ex-Chelsea boss said.
"It is a team with the current Ballon D'Or winner (Cristiano Ronaldo), a great coach in Alex Ferguson and a stadium with a fantastic atmosphere.
"It will be unforgettable returning to Manchester. Some say I have a good record against Alex Ferguson but the record isn't mine, it's Chelsea's."
