Barcelona are still on the trail of Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas, with the Spanish club said to be weighing up an increased offer for the 22-year-old.

It is believed that Barca want to sign Fabregas before the Gunners' Champions League clash against Celtic on Tuesday to avoid him being cup-tied.

Manchester United are planning a £5 million bid for FC Schalke goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. The highly-rated 23-year-old has attracted the interest of Bayern Munich.

West Ham and Fulham are now in the hunt for Bordeaux's Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh after Arsenal ended their interest.

Tottenham are poised to make a £5 million bid for Crystal Palace forward Victor Moses.

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp is also weighing up a move for Celtic and Scotland midfielder Scott Brown.

Both Fulham and Everton are keen to sign Gary O'Neill from Championship side Middlesbrough.

The Cottagers are also set to sign Mark Viduka after the former Newcastle striker flew into London for talks.

Meanwhile, Portsmouth are close to signing another former Middlesbrough player, midfielder Bolo Zenden.

Blackburn could sign Argentine central defender Renato Civelli after the Marseille player revealed his desperation to play in the Premier League. A previous deal between Civilli and Rovers had stalled because of the player's wage demands.

Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is also set to bring Paris St Germain midfielder Jerome Rothen to Ewood Park for £2 million.

While neighbours Burnley are poised to sign Reading's £2.8 million rated defender Andre Bikey.

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti hopes to make 20-year-old Serbian striker Nemanja Matic his fourth signing of the summer in a £4 million deal.

Finally, Michael Mancienne is close to signing a new four-year deal at Stamford Bridge before sealing a return to Wolves for a second loan spell.
