Vampire movie Twilight swept the board at the Teen Choice awards on Sunday with 11 prizes.

The Summit Entertainment film, based on Stephenie Meyer's novel, took the best drama and best soundtrack prizes, with leads Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart winning dramatic acting awards.

The film also won prizes for its romantic and fighting scenes, breakthrough stars Ashley Greene and Taylor Lautner and villain Cam Gigandet.

Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus took home six surfboard-shaped awards, while hosts the Jonas Brothers won five trophies.

Britney Spears won the Ultimate Choice award while David Beckham was among the sporting stars honoured at the Los Angeles ceremony, now in its 11th year.
