Katie Price, the model formerly known as Jordan, has left ITV's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! after just one week on the ITV1 show.

Yesterday the 31-year-old glamour model pleaded with the public not to continue voting for her to do the Bushtucker Trials, ahead of her seventh consecutive task.

Last night Katie won 11 stars in her sixth Bushtucker Trial, Car-Lamity. But the programme-makers said this morning that when hosts Ant and Dec announced that she was to take part in Bad Pitt alongside Joe Bugner, her response was: "I'm not doing it. I'm just not doing it anymore."

The mother-of-three had said yesterday: "It's like, 'How many more can a girl possibly do?' They've [the public] seen me with bugs, terrified, they've seen me cry.

"So today I said to camp: 'It will just be like me going to the office. I'll get there, I'll tremble, I'll cry, I'll moan, do the challenge come back and then I can chill for the day and me and Jimmy we can just watch and wait for our food'."

Adding: "Please don't vote me tomorrow, please, I've had enough.

"Everyone else, give then something to do. You've seen me struggle, you've seen me cry, shake, wanna die."

When Katie first appeared on the show in 2004 she met future husband Peter Andre, who is father to two of her children, Junior and Princess Tiaamii. But following her divorce from Peter earlier this year, she was reported as saying she hoped her appearance on the ITV show would bring "closure" to her relationship with him.
