E4's award-winning drama Skins has been granted two further series, the channel has announced.
The fourth season of the programme ends next week, with the current cast ending their time on the show.
The drama, which follows teenagers in Bristol, has made a habit of replacing its entire cast every two years and a new set of actors will begin filming the fifth series in the summer.
"Skins has always been about new talent, both on and off screen, and the decision to recast the series every two years is one of the reasons Skins stands out," said E4's head of drama Camilla Campbell said.
"Now another group of teenagers will have the rare opportunity to be part of a British drama series that says something about their lives and is one of the most exciting shows on television.
"I can't wait to find out who they will be."
The series has launched the careers of Slumdog Millionaire star Dev Patel and A Single Man actor Nicholas Hoult.
